MECHANICAL ENGINEERING INTERN - SUMMER 2025
Do you spend your free time testing rocket engines, building racecars, or flying UAVs? Do you work ridiculously hard? Have you built something insanely cool?
If so, you’re exactly who we’re looking for. Ares Industries is a fast-moving defense startup designing, building, and testing missile systems that the world needs. We need obsessed engineering students who want to apply their hands-on experience to aerospace hardware that matters.
-- Work on real aerospace hardware, not busywork.
-- Help design, manufacture, and test missile airframes, propulsion systems, avionics, and software.
-- Get your hands dirty in the shop, at the test range, and in live flight testing.
-- Learn from engineers who have built UAVs, missiles, and spacecraft.
-- Take ownership of projects that will fly, launch, or fire in the real world.
-- Engineering students (juniors and above preferred) or recent grads who live and breathe aerospace, robotics, propulsion, or mechanical design.
-- Prior hands-on experience in rocketry, high-speed vehicles, machining, or embedded systems is a huge plus.
-- A willingness to work hard, learn fast, and build things that actually matter.
-- Someone who is comfortable in a machine shop, at a test site, or anywhere engineers make cool things happen.
